I'm in White Rock, BC and NOT using the Gateway....I have a DC3400 PVR and we have had pixelation and quick audio drop outs for the last 2-3 months. Not enough to get annoyed and call Shaw but enough where I have "noticed them".
I had that problem for a while... Took 15-20 service calls to get fixed, I lost count of the number of PVRs I had, I think the PVR was changed every other service call that summer.
If it happens regularly, first save a recording of it, then start troubleshooting with Shaw.

If you mean record a session while it's pixelating? If so no but I will and show it to a service rep if I need to call.
Hmm, do you notice the problem at particular times of the day, or is it completely random? If we haven't looked at it yet, we could check some data from here (signal levels for example) to see if there's any explanation.
