I can help you with your modem there. Let's start by fully resetting the modem at your end please. To do that - unplug the power and coaxial cables from the back of it for a minute, and then put it back together. Give it about 30 - 60 seconds to reboot after that.
If that doesn't help, can you describe which lights are steady or flashing on the front of the modem please?
I just realized this is in the phone forum. If it's the phone modem you're having trouble with, it will be necessary to remove the battery pack as well as unplugging it. You could also try the pin hole reset described here: How to perform a DPT Pin-hole Reset
