Our gateway remote has quit working properly. The PVR , VOD, Guide, Live TV buttons no longer work. The gateway system is only a month old.
THe TV is a samsung smart TV...also new. Everything worked well for a month. Any suggestions?

Do you have multiple Gateway Portals in the house, or just the one? I'm wondering if you have a second Gateway remote which we could try in place of the one you're having trouble with. That would help narrow things down a bit.
Did you by chance, line the IR blaster from the Samsung TV up so it is blocking the Portal's IR sensor, preventing the remote from operating it?
We have unplugged everything and rebooted the system....the PVR, VOD, Guide, live TV buttons now work again....yeah. But our HD picture is not as clear as before...another question?
Check if your TV is on the correct Input (HDMI?), and the resolution settings on your portal are correct (1080i or 720p) from the Menu > Settings > TV Setup.
Thank you for a prompt response....yes our gateway remote was the problem. Although HDM1 was ok ...the gateway remote had wrong channel....all is good now.
