Cable Modem & Cable Phone Drops

Cable Modem and Cable Phone Randomly drops connection..

 

Had Tech service come and inspect....

He fixed a splitter and ran line test... Db loss is good according to him, line signal strenght was good...

Last night, modem and phone dropped connection about 8 times in a 1 1/2hr period..

 

Wondering if the line from the pole to the house is bad, or if the cold would have any affect..

 

Have Motorola SB5102 and its connected to DIR655 Wireless modem going into a 3COM 16 Port Baseline Switch...

 

The phone Modem is newly installed...as well as cable for tv viewing...

 

Always had just Extreme Internet package only, but after the cable phone and tv hookup, is when the Cable Modem & Cable Phone started dropping connections... The Tv Box still works while this is going on...

 

I'm at a loss....
