I'd like to set up a bridged connection for my home internet. My wifi signal is pretty weak if I stray more than 10 feet from the modem, and it seems like bridging the connection through a router is the only way to fix this issue. Unless there is something else I can do to fix my wifi strength. I just got a new TV and Internet installed a few days, first with a regular PVR and 50mbps internet set up on the same day, but changed my PVR to the Gateway system the following day, and since changing to the Gateway system my WiFI signal doesn't work as far away and drops pretty severely, even so much so that it stopped working the other night, even though I was directly beside the modem, but was connected wirelessly. I've tried changing the channel on the modem, but it didn't improve it at all, so I guess the bridge is the only way to do it.
