I can't seem to turn on the firewall. Click on turn on and it goes on for a second and then goes off again. Any ideas?
McAfee's Firewall uses components of the Windows Firewall and requires them to be working. Can you check the following.
If "Windows Firewall" is missing (not listed), or the service fails to start, we have a problem with Windows. Please let us know if this is an issue and a shaw-moderator can collect your information to setup a Shaw Secure callback to have it resolved.
If the Windows Firewall service appears to be working normally, please uninstall and reinstall McAfee. Uninstall using the removal tool found at http://shawcd.shawbiz.ca/. Install guide can be found here... Installing Shaw Secure

Hey wcguy, I just branched your post to a new thread for you, since it's a bit of a different situation.
Basic things first, have you restarted your machine at all? I'll tag our Shaw Secure guru ss_phil here for you as well, as he should have some additional suggestions for you to try before more drastic measures such as removing and reinstalling Shaw Secure.
