My Pace aspen TDC776D PVR suddenly stopped working. While there is a picture and the remote still seems to work there is no audio. Can the unit be reset or repaired or do I have to shell out for another piece of shaw hardware that fails?
Could you let me know what you have tried so far with regards to troubleshooting? Have you reset the terminal by disconnecting the power or any other troubleshooting step?
Yes, I disconnected and reconnected the power. I also tried both HDMI and red-yellow-white cable connections. I connected the TV to a standard Shaw HD box and the sound worked. It is only when the TV is connected to the PACE PVR that I have the problem. It worked fine yesterday afternoon but stopped working last night.

I am having the same issue, I hard reset but still get no audio, the box is set to use tv speakers as is the tv. I have a spare aspen and when i swap them the audio works for awhile then stops again. I am also using a new hdmi cable. Please help, thanks!
