Menu button on remote doesnt work, Guide doesnt work, time on digital has changed to military, On Demand not working, Shaw rep didnt call me back
Which model of digital box do you have? I'm not aware of any that displays in military time.
When you push either of the menu and guide buttons, does the CBL button on the remote light up red? If it doesn't, what happens when you push the CBL button and then push either menu or guide?
And as for Video On Demand, when you push the VOD button on the Shaw remote, does it go into the VOD menu or does it seem as though the button also doesn't work?
I'd also like more details on the rep who didn't call you back.
I have a Samsung TV, HDMI Dolby Digital Plus, Champ remote 2020B0-B1,
I switched to a brand new remote, new batteries.
When I push Menu or Guide button, red light at top of remote lights but nothing comes up on display.
I can see the TV station names and numbers, but not the TV listings.
When I press the Shaw on Demand button, red light on remote comes on but nothing on display.
The time changed to military time.
I spoke to a rep Friday night, his name was Joseph from Vancouver Island. He tried to help me but there were no changes to my issues.
He told me Shaw was doing maintenance on its system and he would call me back the next day.
He told me he would call me back Saturday afternoon at 3:30 pm (when his shift started), 4:30 my time.
I did not receive his call.
Hmm, these are odd issues and I'd like to take a closer look at your digital box. Also, if you were promised a callback but didn't get it, I'd like to follow up with that rep.
