I recently upgraded to a bigger and much newer modem/package but now I lag badly in games online with my xbox360....
Speed test looks great and gaming was fine with my old modem?
Have your Cisco modem bridged, and go back to using your router
Prior to connecting the new modem - what was your network setup?
Did you have the Motorola SB5102 modem connected to your own router?
Are you connecting on wireless or a wired connection?
Just a cheap Cisco router with 1 computer and I am wired to the xbox.
Had an SB5100 before.
Hard to say what is causing the issue - perhaps there is some settings we can adjust on the Cisco to help with this. I'll check with a few of our Guru's to see if they have any advice.
Just to clarify is this the Cisco DPC3825 modem that you have now?
In the meantime, to prove out the issue we could temporarily bridge the modem and you could use your own router again.
Yes that's the modem, i tried forwarding the same ports as last time with no success as well.
I don't see any options for bridging the modem though?
I'm still using the other modem for my wireless so that would work fine.
Thanks, I will message you directly to help with bridging the modem.

With the new modem, the DPC3825, the UPnP feature is on all the time, so that should forward the ports as needed, so you shouldn't have to manually
