Anyone else in Calgary having problems with their TV programming. Mine keeps cutting in and out, stopping half way through a show then skipping ahead in the program so I miss parts. It's on all channels, not just any one in particular.

That sounds frustrating! I haven't heard any reports of issues like this in Calgary today. Do you have just the one TV in the home? If you have more than one, have you checked if the others are having the same issue? I would recommend powercycling (remove power for 20 seconds) your Cable box.

I've try the other tv in the house and also do the power down. Hopefully it will help. I'll post once I've completed it.
Well it just seems to be the main TV that is cutting in and out. I did the power off cycle for 5 minutes rechecked my cables and they all seem to be fine. The Main TV is connected to the Shaw Gateway and portal. My other TV is just basic cable connection. So it seems to be something with my gateway/portal.

Are all of your portals having this trouble or just the one? Powercyling the portal didn't make any change?
I just have the one portal, and after I did the power cycling it did it again, right away. But it hasn't done it since. Sometimes I get the error that it cannot connect to check my cables or call Shaw It's been 15 minutes since the last time it cut out, hopefully its not going to happen again.
My finger are crossed for you but it makes it awfully hard to type! If it happens again, please remove the power cord, unscrew the cable cord on both ends, reconnect the cable then plug the power back in. Hopefully it doesn't though!
I spoke too soon. It just happened. I will unplug everything as you said and leave it like that. I have to go out right now, so I will plug it all back in when I return. Hopefully that will have fixed this problem. I'll post once I've connected everything and see how it goes.

Well so far it has been working fine, it has been up and running for an hour, so I'm hoping that its fixed. I will remember to totally unplug everything, power cords and cables all around.
