Well, I'm getting fed up with the slow internet service Shaw is providing. For almost 18 months I have paid for the 250mb service but most of the time I am only achieving around 50mb wirelessly. When I call support the first thing they have me do is unplug all the wires on my computer and carry it next to the router so I can hardwire the ethernet cable. And yes, it does raise the speed to just below 100mb. I realize that I am sacrificing some speed using my computer wirelessly but I should be getting much better speeds than I am. All my calls to Shaw support have not solved the problem. I am now at the point where I am looking at other ISPs and leaving Shaw. I am totally frustrated with Shaw not being able to provide a solution or answers to this problem. I'd like to hear from anybody who has experienced the same issues and found a solution to the problem. Many thanks in advance!
