I can't get online with my netbook on shaw go open wifi
my phone connects fine but netbook shows connected but no internet.
I'm sorry we missed your question and are only replying back now. Is the phone and netbook the only devices you have ever connected to Shaw go Wifi? When you access your Shaw Go wifi section in Shaw Customer Centre does it list the Mac address for your netbook?
Hi tapdog. As per [shaw]heather's suggestion, did you find the MAC address for your netbook in Shaw Go wifi section of your customer account? If it's not there, let us know which operating system you have on your netbook (such as Chrome or Windows) and we can help you find your MAC address.
Sorry, been busy working, I am using windows 7 starter on my asus netbook, I think the only devices I have connected are my iphone 5 and my netbook. I do not think I got around to connecting my tablet.
Right now I am on netbook using my iphone tether at shaw wifi location.
When you are able to do testing but find that you are still having issues, let us know. Or even if you find it now works, we would appreciate if you could post the steps you took to fix it.
