OCAP --> boot --> APP

Soooo frustrated. I've tried unplugging the box more than a few times, each time for at least 30 seconds (usually closer to 1-2 min) then plug it back in and let it boot. Always goes to APP and gets stuck. Double checked all of the cable connections and they're fine. The TV says "AN ERROR OCCURRED" (and in smaller print: An error occurred in the TV stream. Try again or change channel. If the problem remains, try to restart your set-top-box to get by the problem." I've tried changing channels, and each is a big blank error. I've tried to bring up the guide, and get some wimpy little left-bottom-corner black & white guide with no options other than to change the channel.
