Our Pace DC 758D box occasionally shuts down and then resets itself. Also, when it comes back to life, it does not show the time when it is turned off.
It is almost 3 years old. Is it the box or is it a Shaw problem?
We would have to troubleshoot to figure out where the problem is. Do you have the power plug connected to a power bar or is it direct to the wall outlet? Please try changing where it's plugged in to see if that might be the cause.
Try also resetting the digital box:
1.Locate and unplug the power cable on your Digital Box
2.Wait 30 seconds
3.Plug the power back in to the Digital Box
4.Wait approximately 1-2 minutes for the Interactive Guide functions to be fully restored

Hi there vmainman, was julia's advice of help to you? Many times it is the power cord that causes the issue. Bypassing it and putting the digital box direct to the wall socket is a great way to test.
