I have some vision problems and often find the print on web sites to be too light. I have increased the size of the font, but I would like to make it bolder. How do I do that?
One option would be to use the zoom function of your internet browser.
All browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc) use the same keyboard shortcut to easily access this function. Ctrl and + will increase the zoom, while Ctrl and - will decrease the zoom. Ctrl and 0 (number zero) will reset to normal (100%). This feature can also be found under the options menu of your browser if you have any troubles with keyboard shortcuts.
Hope this helps.
I don't believe there is an accessibility option within operating systems or browsers to make text bolder. The font size (zoom) increasing and decreasing is probably your best bet. You should be able to scale it up enough that it is very clear, but ultimately font style choice comes down to the website itself.
