Well I had this problem before, and I had to unplug it from all outlets for 10 minutes and it worked for a few weeks after that. Now its back again to freezing up. It keeps saying lost connection or the cable card is not validated. I will do the unplug thingy again but I'm not happy with this. I pay a lot of money for my service and don't feel I should have to keep unplugging everything every several weeks. Such a pain!
