Wireless modem connectivity problems

Lately I have been experiencing a lot of connectivity problems on wireless devices with my wireless modem. At times all devices that are connected loose connectivity and have to wait several minutes to reconnect and this happens several times an hour throughout the day, also it seems that it has been lagging a lot more then normal. Also recently I have also been having an ip error come up saying another device has the same IP address. Not sure what could be causing the issues we have tried resetting our modem etc wondering if it may be the wireless modem itself as we have had it for a few years. Our current modem brand is Cisco DPC3825.
