I have a brand new desktop and am using Windows Mail for Gmail and Shaw email accounts. I encountered the following problem today:
In Windows Mail I composed a message in Gmail and attached a small jpg file (66.5 kb). I bcc'd the email to my Shaw email address and sent the message. In my Gmail "Sent" folder I am able to click the attachment and view the image.
I then went to Shaw account inside of Windows Mail to view the same message. I clicked to download the image and received the following error message "Files can't be downloaded."
I then went to Shaw webmail and looked a the same message. When I click the attachment, I am able to view it. In other words, there is nothing wrong with image.
Why won't the Shaw server allow my attachment to be downloaded to Windows Mail?
