My motorola DCX3200-M has had "APP" in the display window (where the time usually is) all day. The blue light indicates the box is 'on' but there is nothing else, just a blank TV screen. What does this mean and how do I fix it?
Thanks for your post, the issue of the boxes being stuck on APP was reported today by other customers as well - we have a service alert listed for this issue in our Service Updates forum here: [resolved] HD Guide - A-P-P on front display. The basic step to resolve this would be to first try un-plugging the power from the DCX3200 HD box and then re-connect it after 10-15 seconds.
If there is still no positive results from doing that, let me know and I will message you directly to investigate this further.
Thanks for your quick response Ali. I unplugged the power from the box and reconnected it 20 seconds later and it still reads APP.
