I have a Shaw Arris Gateway. In the past month we have started to experience corrupted recordings. In the first discovered cases full recordings were corrupt such that they were unwatchable and then others were just fine. Old recordings were fine. From a certain time period they were corrupt. Then later fine again. Lately it seems most/many recordings are partially corrupt. So we see a digitized line show up in different places regularly, audio cut out or audio digitized/garbled. The most recent was the How I Met Your Mother Final last night. Parts of it were corrupt and a small piece of audio missing.
In other posts for related issues (but based on what sounded like the Motorolla boxes) there was a way to check/test the status of the hard drive. Do the same testing features exist on the gateway? Are there any diagnostic features or log reports? We are located in Central Coquitlam, BC.
