SHAW mail and Windows Live Problem

Hi,

We are new SHAW customers.

One PC in our house runs Windows XP and uses Windows Live Mail as an email client. It is working normally with the SHAW servers.

The other PC here is using the Windows 7 operating system along with Windows Live Mail. However, it will receive mail but won't send it.

I have all the server settings set as per the instructions from SHAW. Here is the error message I get after attempting to send an email:

"The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's email address. The sender's email address was 'xxxxxxx@shaw.ca'.

Subject 'Test 999'

Server Error: 530

Server Response: 530 Authentication required

Server: 'shawmail.pk.shawcable.net'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC78

Protocol: SMTP

Port: 25

Secure(SSL): No"

Are there issues with Windows 7 and the SHAW network?

Thanks in advance...
