Hey i have a shaw provided commscope 3 way splitter and I live on a apartment so i have the internet modem phone and a SD digital box all hooked into this splitter which the 3 way splitter is connected into a BGI 2 way splitter as i have a HD box as well. My question is i know that the 3 way commscope splitter has one 3.5 db signal loss spot and the rest are 7.5 db signal loss. Now to my knowledge the internet modem should be plugged into the 3.5 db spot as the i have it now cus the phone modem dosent need as much signal strengh as the internet modem needs as lower signal can ressult in internet speed issues tho i also dont want issues on the Arris phone modem so i just want to clearify i have the configuration right by haveing the phone modem on the 7.5 db signal loss spot on the 3 way splitter.

Thx matt.
