Early this week, Apr 15, I upgraded the android software on my phone and my wife's phone (sony xperia SP c5306) after constant reminders from Sony (Went from android 4.1 to 4.3).
Since that upgrade, neither I nor my wife can open emails from our Shaw account on our phones. We receive notification, we can see the subject and sender, but when we try to open all we get is a 'connection error' message.
I phoned Shaw technical support last night. He tried his best, but in the end he admitted defeat at solving the problem and told me I would have to go thru Sony support. So far nothing from Sony.
Does anyone have a fix for this? Reading email on a phone has become a basic and essential service, so I would really like to get this solved.
