I have an ASUS Transformer tablet. I can't set up email as the instructions on the Shaw website are't the same as what's on the tablet.

With android devices, the interface can vary depending on the version of the OS or the manufacturer. The instructions above are step-by-step for Samsung phones, I believe.
The settings themselves should be the same but navigating the screens differ.

I haven't used the Asus Transformer, but almost all emails clients are the same,
Incoming mail server - pop.shaw.ca
Username - First part of your email address
Password - Your passwordPlaintext, no SSL or other encryption options
Outgoing mail server - Confirm with a support agent that remote SMTP is enabled
Outgoing mail server - mail.shaw.ca
Password - Your email password
Port - 587
Security - TLS
