I have the gateway with 2 portals. The system is almost two years old. One portal works perfectly. I have two probs with the other portal.
a) I have to reseat the cable intering the portal about 1x per week when I get the message " no signal"
b) We experience periods of sound drop outs (like a fast beating). It happens at leas once per day, often several times per day. It happens both when watching live tv or recordings. The only way to resume proper sound is to first rewind and then press play again to resume.
This has been going on for over a year, but I have been just putting up with it until now.
Considering both issues are with the same portal,I wonder if it might be the cable that plugs into the portal? Should I have it replaced?
