I've set up email on my Iphone 5 (IOS7) using exchange as instructed else where in shaw.ca. When I send an email it appears like an advertisement for Rogers. Is there a way to avoid all the Roger's references?
Thanks you guys for your assistance.
All is now fine. I was sending emails from the message app in IPhone and that's where Rogers ads were present.
If I use the email app I can specify my own signature and it works fine.
There is a signature setting in your email setup somewhere.. Sorry, not an iOS fan, so I can't give exact instructions, if you can't find it, post back, and I'll Google for some instructions
I have no experience with Exchange, but if you give more information about the "advertisements" and where/how they appear, someone can help likely.
iPhone 5 on Fido here. No extraneous Fido references in my emails, fwiw.
If the Rogers info is showing up in the messages you send, it does sound like it's set up as a signature as kevinds deduced above. In order to check if there's a signature set up in iOS7 please follow these steps:
If you see the Rogers advertising in this screen, just remove that content and it should no longer show up on each message you send.
Nice thanks for getting back to us on what the problem was Glad you got it sorted and it might just help someone else who's seeing this.
