Correct Setup for new DPC3825 → DLinkDGS-1016A ?

Just switched over to Shaw for internet services @ business.

Previous setup was default Telus modem for wifi access and the DLinkDGS-1016A router to allow for the various ethernet wired computers to have internet access and local connectivity.

Previous setup *Seemed* to work ok:  DSL line into Telus modem → 1 ethernet cable from modem to the DLink router; then all ethernet cables into the router.  This was recommended by several online setups to allow for the DLink to handle the routing itself.

Swapped out the telus router for the new DPC3825 and not working.

I've forgotten if there were settings to adjust on the modem side.

Thanks for any advice.
