Error message when trying to connect to shaw email via Samsung galaxy tab 3 (cannot safely connect to server)?

I changed my password and then tried again to connect but I still get the error message (cannot safely connect to server)?
Which configuration method did you follow here -- was it Configuration 1 (Microsoft Exchange) or Configuration 2 (POP/SMTP)? Also, can you tell us if you have any problem accessing your email account through Webmail?
I am using configuration 2 (POP/SMTP). I am able to connect to my email account through webmail. Now I am getting an error message (Authentication failed)?
Sounds like you may need to log in to Webmail and enable Remote Access. Can you take a look at that document and double check that's been done, please?
Tried again and now it has worked? I now have the email access! Not sure why?
Weird that it would all of the sudden start working. But hey, if it works it works!
Thank you for your assistance! I think changing the passwords made a difference, also I deleted my old Blackberry tablet from the shaw account.
