I Am not able to connect to the internet and I have tried to reset the modem twice. The power light is on solid, the send receive lights are flashing and the fourth light is off completely. Suggestions?
Sorry to hear that you're unable to get your modem to go on-line. With the light sequence you describe, it sounds like the modem has a poor connection to us. You will want to follow Solution 4: Check your Connections in our Unable to Connect to the Internet troubleshooting document. If the connections look good, you may need to re-seat your coaxial cable.

it has been working fine up until this morning, the cables were prof installed by Shaw and not disturbed or pinched. Any other suggestions beside removing connection? Or is it worth taking it apart? With the phone modem being affected I suspect maintenance may be occuring today?
