Our mail servers functioning as normal. Are you able to access your email via webmail? If so, you will want to verify that the settings in your email program match those in our Email Setup instructrions.
Have found that using my apple mail program the mail.shaw.ca outgoing server will not accept my email password.
Incoming email working great. Is there another outgoing mail server that I can use.
I was not able to find any outgoing server information on webmail.shaw.ca using safari.
mail.shaw.ca not accepting your password, which mail settings are you using? Laptop that travels? Desktop? mobile device?
What settings do you have set for the outgoing server?
My first thought is thatEnabling Remote Access in Webmailisn't enabled if it isn't accepting your password
It sounds to me like you need to enable Remote Access. Can you try that and let us know how it goes?
Hi firstname.lastname@example.org. Consensus seems to be that remote access needs to be enabled on your email address. If you've enabled it and you're still having password issues, please let us know!
