Checked our accounts monthly usage and was surprised to see it over double from prior months (1070GB). Checked the routers traffic monitor usage and it's inline with previous months (373GB).
Have you checked the billing cycle dates listed in Online Customer Care? We've had a recent issue with some accounts showing a reporting period of longer than a month, such as from March to current for the most recent reporting period. This is something that we are working on correcting, and will not affect billing in any way.
It did show longer than a month, but there's still no way that our usage would be anywhere near 1TB.
Can you tell me the period that it's reporting for there? We've seen no errors in the reporting levels, only the time period. If you're concerned that someone is using your connecrion, you will want to verify that you've followed all the steps listed at How to secure your wireless network.
April 1 - June 11. According to the router, the same period should be about 700gb. No issue with anyone piggybacking our connection. MAC filtered and SSID isn't being broadcast, also using WPA2.
Thanks for looking into that for us lesaonar. That is a little higher then the approx 375gb per month you were previously using, but not completely out of line. I would suggest giving us some time to correct the reporting issue, and seeing what your usage looks like afterwards. We don't charge for overages at this time, and would contact you to discuss if usage becomes a concern before we did anything else.
