Hello I am at Camosun College in Victoria BC and am trying to send email through Outlook 2003. I have set my laptop exactly the same as home. I can receive email but not send it...what am I doing wrong?
Because you are not using a Shaw Cable internet connection, you can not use the shaw outgoing email servers.
If you are already on Webmail 2.0 and have remote-SMTP enabled, you can change the server settings to the remote SMTP server with your username and password. (mail.shaw.ca, email username, and password SSL On Port 587)
Your school may have an outgoing SMTP server for students to use.
Or use webmail to send your emails for now.
