can I transfer gateway portal from one room to another ?
If you are moving the portal to a different room to replace a portal that is already there, you definitely can.
But if you are moving it to a different room that never had a portal before, that could be a bit more problematic.
Each portal needs a special filter between it and the wall outlet. This is to remove any interference from non-Gateway/portal devices that might also be connected. If the portal is on an outlet that doesn't have anything else connected to it, you could try moving the portal, the coaxial cable, and any splitters and little filters that are also connected.
If after this it can't get a signal in the new room, we would need to book a technician for you.
