When I want to forward an email to multiple recipients, I have to enter each email address manually. There must be a better way? Can anyone help me?
Hi there lies
If you're using Webmail and you'd like to forward to multiple people at once without adding each address individually, you can use a Contact Group. To create a Group, click on Contacts, select the arrow next to the New option and click Contact Group. Name your group first and from there you can add recipients on the right, which will then show up on the left when you click Add. When you're done adding contacts, click Save.
Then when you'd like to forward an email to the people in the group you just created, click the To: field, click on Groups and then select the group in question. This will work well for you if you find that you send or forward messages to the same contacts frequently.
Hope this helps.
*Edit - this assumes that you use Webmail 2.0. If you're using Webmail Classic, the steps vary a little but you do still have the option available.
Which email client are you using? Usually there is a way to select from your contact list who to forward it to.
I am not using a client. I am just using Shawmail. Should I choose a client? And which one would be the best?
Thank you Matthew, I will try it and let you know how it goes!
Hi Matthew, I tried it and it works! Thank you so much for your help!
