I moved my gateway portal to a different room and when I connected it all, it did not work.
The reason for that is that when your Gateway was installed, the tech wired specific outlets to be a part of the Gateway and Portal system, when you move it to a new outlet it won't work unless that outlet has been wired to be a part of the Gateway system. All the Gateway and portals need to be on the same line essentially (using splitters and a moca filter to keep it separated from your other devices).
