I can appreciate the position that you guys/gals have been put in with the lack of information that you are being given as to the launch dates. However that does not alleviate my concern at the way this has been handled or not handled. Why have other providers been able to launch all at once. I have been told that someone with telus got all their channels with no issues. If telus was better in this area I would immediately change to it. I am going to encourage them to improve their service where I am. This is just pure nonsense.
We can certainly understand the frustration here from customers looking to watch these channels right now, I know what we will say will not resolve the issues immediately. We can't speak to what another provider has done, but from my understanding with us there is a lot more technical work involved in the TSN channel launches, it's a multiple channel launch, combined with feed changes, every area has different local feeds, some are MPEG2, some are MPEG4, combined with some channel moves required to accommodate the new group of TSN channels. We also do seem to service more areas so there is a lot work involved, the technical teams are working hard to get the remaining areas up as soon as possible, with Thunder Bay launching today.
