Did anyone else have any issues with Friday night smackdown last night?
it seems as if one block of content was repeated again, did anyone else see this, or was it just a glitch on my pvr?
If the time indicator was progressing normally throughout the recording then it sounds like the issue was with the show as it aired. Typically an issue with the recording itself would result in the time jumping around, or it stopping during playback of the problem content.
Again it's kind of hard to say for sure without other reports to compare to. If you do happen to notice any similar problems occur down the road then there may be something else to look into.
Hey again carl.hall, I asked around for you but wasn't able to confirm that.
Have you seen this problem before with recorded content? Did it seem to just hard cut to a prior time?
Maybe someone else who watched it last night can chime in.
the affected content was at different timecodes in the recorded content
Thanks for getting back to us. To clarify, is issue that (within your recorded program) the first portion was doubled up and repeated resulting in the last portion being missed?
If so, that's rare as far as problems with recorded content go. Which makes me think it may have been an issue with the feed as it was broadcast Friday night. But, it is hard to say for sure at this point...
it was 1 block between commercial breaks (so probably about 6-7 minutes long) but the end did record correctly
I can confirm that a poster on a message board I frequent made mention of the same problem during the Smackdown broadcast last night. I actually just checked my PVR and confirmed the same thing. After the commercial break during the Rusev/Swagger match the program looped back to Rusev's intro at about the 52 minute mark, so this was definitely a problem with the broadcast.
