I have Shaw home phone service and noticed an odd issue when my wife calls me at my office from that home phone service. My office voip (Cisco) phone will not disconnect the call when she hangs up her phone. Most calls, when the remote user disconnect will instantiate a disconnect and terminate my phone's call.
I spoke with our VOIP support and he's suggesting there may be an issue with how shaw disconnects the line, as there is a message sent to the remote call (my office) to end the call.
Does anyone have any ideas? Its a nuisance on my end, but things should work properly ideally.
