We are a family of blackberry users and happy shaw customers. When will the go shaw app be available for blackberry?
Hey inger - Currently there aren't any plans to port the Shaw GO app to the Blackberry platform. Sorry I couldn't provide you with any better news .
I do have some good news however if you are a Blackberry PlayBook owner - my colleague jason.l tells me that streaming online content from our video on demand website: http://exo.shaw.ca to the PlayBook appears to work fine; this doesn't require an app.
I have a PlayBook myself so I'll test it out it later and confirm for myself.
Why are the app developers to lazy to support Blackberry 10 they could port the app over in under 20 minutes. It's no wonder the apple sheep are clueless to how easy it has become to port apps into bb10.
I had tried it with my playbook last nite. I wasn't able to view as it came up with an error. . if someone knows if there is tips and tricks to get it to work, i would be glad to hear.
It appears to work when we test - have you installed all the latest updates for your PlayBook? I think you may need the Adobe Flash Player plug-in enabled as well.
Let us know what the error message is if the issue persists.
Just tried it again, it seems to work just fine now on my Playbook. I don't know what happened the other night but looks great!
thank for your responses.
Great to hear inger!
Hi, i wanted to follow up on this thread since its several months old. Any plans yet to support BlackBerry?
I have to admit that i am far more loyal to BlackBerry than i am to Shaw. I just checked out Rogers NextBox 2.0 which has an app available for download through BlackBerry's app store. Before i make the switch i wanted to double check.
