How do I get SHAW e-mail icon on my desktop instead of having to use webmail all the time?
Also in webmail can you make the message area bigger?
Also I opened an e-mail account for my husband but it doesn't seem to work...
There're couple of different ways you can set up to have your e-mail icon on your screen instead of having to use webmail. The easiest is to set up a third-party e-mail program like Outlook or Windows live Mail and set up your e-mail inside of there. The information can be found on how to setup your e-mail here: Email Setup Instructions
In regards to the size of the message with the webmail there isn't a way to change the size of the window unfortunately. I would advise looking into your browser under "view" and looking for "zoom" option, with that you can change the magnifying size of the screen.
With your husband's e-mail what exactly is not working? Is it not allowing you to log in through webmail? Does it give you an error?
Hope you're having a great day and that this information helps.
If you would like to create a Webmail icon on your desktop, so that you can click it on the desktop and go directly to the Webmail page, try these steps -
Right click your desktop, select 'new' and then 'shortcut'
In the next window, type the Webmail site into the bar -
Click 'next', then in the next window, enter 'Shaw Webmail' into the bar, then 'click 'finish'.
As for your husband's email, as Tonya asked, are you able to log into Webmail or are you getting an error in your email program?
husbands e-mail works now. I got the icon on my desktop but can't I use just shaw e-mail like years ago? Why do I have to use webmail? Also have to go back in to get shaw working on Outlook, I can send mail but not receive.
Could you tell me what version of Outlook your computer is running? Outlook 2013/2010/etc.?
Any luck getting receiving email in Outlook so far? We can definitely help you get this sorted so Outlook works for sending and receiving.
