is wireless TV worthwhile or just a passing fad?
I think the wireless tv will be around for a while, but not sure how many people would really take advantage of the features. Generally homes are built to provide cable outlets close by in typical viewing places or you get Shaw/provider to come out and install a new outlet. It would save new home builders a very small cost of installing cable throughout a home. The benefits come from being bale to put a tv anywhere, that is where you can get a quality signal from your hub. With our increased expansion into wireless devices, I worry about interference and signal quality. I think Telus was starting to carry these things now or soon.
I see it more as a niche service, used where it has to be, but not when there is the option of wired service
