Any reason why I would get a fast busy after I do *72 and add my telephone number (different one) to forward to?
When you dial *72, you'll hear a couple of beeps and then you can enter the number to which to forward your calls. If you're only hearing a fast busy and it remains, then try *73 first to disable it and give *72 another shot.
If that doesn't work, see if you can take a look at the phone portal at phone.shaw.ca. Click Features on the left followed by Calling at the top and you'll see an option for Call Forwarding (or should).
