One of my 2 Gateway Portal boxes has gone south -- anyone know how to repair/replace?

What's going on with your Portal? How the process works in this situation is we would try everything we can to troubleshoot it remotely, but if it's just entirely not powering on (and you've tried a different power outlet), we'd have to send a technician out to evaluate the situation. Please get back to us with more details of what's happening with the portal and we can take a look.
I have swapped the dead box with the one that's working i.e. used the power, coax and HDMI cable connections on the operative box and the dead box is still dead. Also tried a different power outlet before I swapped.
