We have had intermittent internet service all day and as of 9:00 p.m. PST, we have had no service at all. Is anyone else experiencing issues in the Lower Mainland?
Sorry you're experiencing an interruption but I'm not finding any area issues in New Westminster at the moment. Can you start by telling us what lights you are seeing on your modem right now?
Right now, the power led is on and the receive led is flashing. The orange PC activity light is flashing also.
I've tried unplugging the modem and plugging it back in with no success. This is an older Motorola Surfboard modem.

I just rebooted the modem again and got internet service back. We'll see if everything remains stable. Maybe the modem is starting to pack it in?
It's possible that the coaxial cable wan't sitting properly. So when you pulled out the power cord, it helped adjust the coaxial cable on the modem. If you lose connection again, I'd recommend unscrewing the coaxial cable from the modem and screwing it back on. Also do the same at the wall outlet and any splitter that might be in place.
