I have had warnings that my email quota is almost full, and to delete messages.I have deleted over half my messages but the quota remains almost full. What to do?
If you are at 90% or more of your Shaw Webmail quota, our system will generate emails notifying you of that. It's possible that the majority of the space is being used by emails with many photos or videos. Have you deleted any of them as well?
But those email notifications will just be that - email notifications. I know that there's a phishing email that went out over the past week that has a link that tries to trick you into entering your email address and password -
Dear User, This is a mail notification from Shaw), Be informed that your mail has exceeded the normal mail quota usage and thus some of your Incoming/Outgoing mails would not be delivered Solve Here Follow the link above to resolve this and have your mail quota increased. Shaw) Mail Team

If you are not caught up in a phishing scam, you need to make sure that empty your trash folder after deleting from your inbox. Also empty your junk emails folder, and check your sent items folder to see if you want to empty that as well.
