I have tried turning the digital box off and on, unplugging cords and replugging them in. It has shown to be announced for the last few days on all channels. Does the digital box need to be replaced?
How old is your terminal?
Is it one of the big old ones, with the loop on the top two posts at the back?
If there is something wrong with the loop, it can cause that as well.
The box is about 3 years old. It is small and would fit in your hand. Also, it is not showing the correct time in the guide and I can't move through the guide by time ie. from 8 to 9 o'clock programming times.
The correct time? Is it just showing 12m?
Check the cable that runs from the wall-outlet to the terminal, making sure it is tight on both ends, and doesn't go through any other pieces of equipment, splitter, VCR, ect.
Replace that cable if you can as well.
Try this reset (it is the same reset the employees do)
If it doesn't reset, or if after an hour it still isn't showing any guide, then you definately need to contact an employee for support, a wrong setting (if the reset is successful), may need a service call because likely a signal issue.
But after that, isn't much that can't be done without employee tools.
