When I installed Shaw wireless at home in early December, my Toshiba laptop and my smart phone were able to connect to the internet using the Shaw wireless. After doing some Windows updates on the laptop, I could see my wireless (SSID?) on the laptop but no longer connect to it. My smart phone is still able to connect to the internet via my wireless. I did all the troubleshooting suggestions - reset the modem, reset the network adapter on the laptop but still not able to connect via the Shaw wireless.
When I take my laptop to a friend's house who has Telus secured wireless, I am able to connect to the internet using this wireless service, without any problems.
