I was wondering if I could make a greeting for when I am not home and a secondary greeting to tell callers when I am on the other line?
Nobody else responded, so I will try,
You want to have two voicemail greetings? One for when your line is busy, and the other for no answer?
If you have call-waiting, your line will never show as busy, so that won't work under any circumstances, (if you have call waiting).
For no-answer verus busy, it is not available by default, it could be setup to make work on Business lines (because the call-forward busy and call-forward no answer are both useable), but it would require another voicemail box on a seperate number. As an example, Call-Forward busy would go to the voicemail box, call-forward no answer would be forwarded to your cell phone, if still not answered, your cell phone voicemail would take the call.
Short-answer it is possible to setup, but not simple.
What ever happened to these voicemail options it appears Shaw has taken away some of these greeting options Thanks
