I have a new computer and a pop up says "intranet settings turned off by default" should they be turned on or not? the computer is only used for home not a business! can you help? thanks Bob
If you click the message, you can tell it to not be shown again. It's a standard message from Internet Explorer when first used (or after a reset). It is correct that "Intranet" (internal sites) are more common for business/work, not a home user.
You don't need the intranet settings for regular home Internet use.
Yeah, I usually set to allow it, that way when the browser updates, the message doesn't come up again. Won't have any effect on anything you do either way
