My pvr froze and then started cycling thru until it said c99c. Then it powered off and on and did it all again. I tried resetting it following the instructions on the website but is back to cycling again . Is my pvr dead?
Good morning mcsandi1,
If you are still experiencing the problem, can you please try powercycling your equipment again (ie., disconnect power for 5 to 10 seconds, then reconnect)? I know there were some general problems late last night which have since been resolved, so if you're not finding it working at this time after giving it a powercycle please be sure to let me know here!
This is what my pvr does is there a fix ?
Is your PVR also displaying c99c and does it seem to be stuck? Try disconnecting the power as well as the coaxial cable from your PVR and leave them off for a few seconds, then reconnect these. Also ceck the coax cable from the PVR to the wall-- is it a direct line to the wall or does it first connect to something like a cable splitter? If there is a cable splitter, check the connections here or if possible try bypassing the splitter completely.
If it's still not starting up normally, let me know here and I can take a closer look at the equipment from our side.
